GABLER TRUCKING, INC. has been involved in the warehousing and distribution business for the last two decades. The company owns and leases or owns and operates warehouse facilities to provide supply chain solutions to its customers. These supply chain solutions may take advantage of logistics concepts such as fixed order quantity approaches or fixed interval inventory models aimed at controlling and standardizing shipment size or shipment time interval, thus, utilizing the EOQ (economic order quantity) model to help our customers determine and control minimum stock levels or reorder points.

Recently, our distribution focus has been on the new time-based approaches to inventory replenishment such as Just-In-time (JIT), Continuous-Replenishment (CRP), and Quick-Response (QR) to accomplish a Flow-Through Distribution System for our customers. Consequently, the goals of these approaches are to eliminate excess inventories, use short lead times, ship small and frequent replenishment quantities, and provide high quality with zero defects.

Our warehouse facilities are temperature controlled and equipped with inventory control systems to protect customer product and ensure the efficient flow of product throughout the supply chain process. All facilities are compliant with sanitation requirements and fire protection codes.

GABLER TRUCKING, INC. will work with any customer to help develop solutions for your warehousing needs. This is evidenced by the construction of a 205,000 sq. ft. facility in Adams County, PA when a National Food Processor requested a distribution warehouse. GABLER TRUCKING, INC. built and currently leases this facility to a customer thus solving their distribution and warehousing needs.

Expansion into warehouse and distribution is planned for two other geographics locations in our service area.

Chambersburg, PA – With the downsizing of Letterkenny Army Depot much of the land and property has been turned over to the Letterkenny Industrial Development Authority to develop private industry. The business park, now referred to as Cumberland Valley Business Park, has opened up an opportunity for GABLER TRUCKING, INC. to better serve its customers through acquisition and construction of approximately a 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse. This facility has both inside and outside rail and truck docks. At the same location, we manage a six-acre paved, secured parking and storage area. Also, this facility has 15 acres of paved parking or unsecured storage and outside rail docks with siding to accommodate 15 rail cars.
